Canatrado, an Imponexpo Company, collects information you submit so we can understand your sourcing needs, prioritize pre-launch access, and follow up about relevant Canada-origin trade opportunities. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
Through our waitlist and contact forms we may collect your email address, name, company, country, product categories of interest, approximate order size, and any message or trade challenge you choose to share. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, manage the buyer waitlist, prioritize which markets and categories we research before launch, and send you launch updates. We do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted processors to operate the site: a database provider (MongoDB) to store submissions, and an email provider (Resend) to deliver transactional and update emails. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Retention
We keep waitlist and contact information only for as long as needed to operate the pre-launch program and the resulting marketplace relationship, or until you ask us to delete it. After that, records are removed or anonymized.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or unsubscribe from updates, at any time. Email hello@canatrado.com and we will action your request within a reasonable timeframe.
